This ain't anesthesia

We are having internet troubles here, I think we were struck by lightning yesterday.
So this is yesterday's post.

These millipede are everywhere.

This is the school at the orphanage.
Kids from the village come too.

Jim and I spent our time doing check ups on the kids in the orphanage yesterday.
We saw 48 kids yesterday.
We saw lots of lice, did a pregnancy test on a 14 year old in the home (it was negative) and
wiped a lot of runny noses.

And it turns out pooping is cross cultural!
(projectile diarrhea)

 (Guatemalan pregnancy test)

Today we did some more exams and Jim diagnosed a little girl with
malaria.  Which is uncommon in Solola since it is 6,800 feet above sea level.
Tomorrow we are going to tour the local hospital.

Miss you all!
Oh and look who we saw yesterday...

I cannot even begin to imagine what an asset you and Jim are there! Praying for your stamina, strength, and compassion to be deeper then deep.
